Nike Lunarglide 2 Flywire

Another example of Flywire technology - this time on the Lunarglide 2. These were spotted in a SportsDirect store in Uxbridge - originally I mistook them for the Airmax 2009 Flywire but on closer inspection they are very different.

Again detail is everything- and you can see the 'flywires' which stiffen the fabric and are joined up to the lace eyelets. They are even visible through the printed swoosh. The side material, being translucent allows the neon yellow to show through from underneath...

The fabric for the toe box is perforated with tiny holes, making this a well ventilated trainer suitable for summer months. The grey colour contrasts well with the flouro-yellow.

The flouro-yellow tongue leaves you in no doubt that these will grab the attention of anyone with a passing interest in sneakers...
